Sometimes things come out of your mouth as a parent that you regret, but you still have to follow through:) Well, B came home from church one sunday telling us all the crazy things he said and did during his class. It dawned on us he might be "that kid" that makes everyone else irreverent. So we talked about there's a time to be reverent and a time to be silly. We started a marble jar for putting a marble in everytime we were reverent when we were supposed to be (prayers, FHE, church, etc.), and when we filled the jar we got to do something silly like go to Chuck E Cheese. The kids worked hard to fill it! As much as Parker and I don't just love Chuck E Cheese, we had a good time as a family being "silly." And luckily all the practice payed off because they have kept up their great reverence skills!
