Hike to Thunderbird Falls

Grandpa and Grandma Visited!!!!

My parents visited and if you can't tell from the kids faces in these pics, we had a blast!  Thanks to my Dad we have a bunch of pics to remember our adventures, and I am in them for once! 

DAY 1

We took a walk on the trail to the lake.

Oh man so priceless that my Dad captured his angry face on camera so we can show him one day.

On our walk we found some Salmon in the creek behind our house so of course Parker made us go back to catch some.  We were succesful.

Playing baseball in the backyard before bed.  Breitling loves baseball and amazes me at how well he can hit!

DAY 2

We went to Seward and hiked to Exit Glacier.

I guess the hike wiped Henry out.  So much for a family picture.

Gotta have a close up of that:)  Poor kid.

We had time for the kids to play at the BEST playground in Seward.

Then we went on an awesome cruise called the fox island dinner cruise.

We even saw puffins close up on the cruise.

DAY 3

John and Tracie babysat for us so we all got to go on a double date to a fancy restaraunt on top of the ski mountain.  It was a blast and a beautiful view!

Trip to Denali
We went on a fabulous three day trip to Denali. Here we are on the drive there looking through the telescope to see the view of Mt. Mckinley.

Too bad it was a bit of a cloudy day so we couldn't see Mckinley, but we're still a great family without the view.

We took a break in took a break from driving in Talkeetna to let the kids play at the playground and eat some lunch.

Here is Breitling talking on those phone things with his dad.

At the cool restaurant that was in Man Vs. Food for their HUGE burger.  We didn't get the burger, but we did enjoy other food:)

We got to the dog kennel and Breitling even got to feel cool on the sled.

He is pretending to be a bear!  The non close picture is down a few.

Our hotel on top of the mountain.  Pretty cool!

Back home at the playground behind our house.

And for my little wanna be cowboy the highlight of our advnetures was when he got to ride a pony!!  These kids were spoiled of course with grandparents here!

And my sweet, sweet Henry.  I am so glad my Dad was here to capture all these kids cute moments for me to remember!
