Ice Skating!
The boys have finally been getting the hang of skating this year and wanted to show grandma and grandpa so we dragged them out there to watch us.
Aww. My mom got this pic of my dad helping me walk down to the lake with my skates on.
Ice Fishing!
We took the boys and my dad ice fishing for the first time and since we chose the warmest day they were here we didn't freeze to death! No fish, but we did enjoy the other scenery and we all had fun!
Henry staking out our spot.
Since we were only using it once we bought a used horrible augur so it meant alot of hard work for the men through 14 inch deep ice on 5 holes!
Henry pulling out all the ice.
A float plane taking off our lake.
Beuatiful sunrise at 10 am:)
An eagle on the tree next to us watching us fish.
Moose hanging out on the lake with us.
Christmas!
Christmas morning...
In their stocking they got some color your own jammies. They only had size 6 and up so Santa got Eddie size 6 so he didn't feel left out. Needless to say they were a tad big and kept falling down. Leave it to dad to rig up some suspenders for him. He ran out showing them off so proud and I couldn't stop giggling.
Grandpa told him to say cheese...
As always the boys had some handsome church outfits from grandma and grandpa Corts. They looked pretty sharp!
We tried to take pics on our beuatiful backyard with our button but they turned out a tad fuzzy so since Christmas Day was a warm day and my great photographer dad was here we tried again. Have I mentioned how much I love our view from our balcony!
B happened to lose his tooth that has been hanging by a limb for a week now on Christmas! He was disappointed the tooth fairy didn't come that night since she forgot and we had to remind him she doesn't work on holidays:) Don't worry Parker and I both remembered the next night without communicating with each other so he got double paid from the tooth fairy this time:)
The boys got grandpa a new pie face game. Not sure grandpa loved it but the boys were hilarious and not at all disappointed that grandpa couldn't fit it in his bag!
Christmas Eve!
Thanks to Kennedy's idea grandma helped the boys make darling name card holders for dinner:)
Thanks Parker for the yummy prime rib!
The boys get to open Christmas jammies on Christmas Eve and their gift to each other. E has some BB8 shoes I got him because they were on clearance but he fell in love with them and shows everyone his shoes at the stores yelling "BB8!!" I made him BB8 jammies and B got him a giant BB8 stuffed animal so he was very pleased!
We continued our nativity tradition and this time grandma was here to be Mary. E chose to be Joseph, B was a wise man, and Henry was a shepherd.
I was touched at how reverently B played the wise man. H knelt down in such quiet reverence and then E rummaged through all his gold:)
