I finished it!!

My goal was to have Eddie's stocking done by Thanksgiving(because usually we put up our tree at that time, who knew this year we'd put it up the first week of November!).  I reached my goal and had it up a week early!!

Four done and one to go!  I've saved Parker's for last since we love his special one his Aunt made for him.

A little bit of this and that...

He gets to wear his Scout uniform again!  We knew when his schedule changed the chances were high he'd be back in Young Mens and sure enough he was called as the Young Mens President within weeks:)

The museum has an awesome lego exhibit right now that we can't get enough of but this time we brought daddy!

They love the lego wall to build their names.

They love climbing the "rock monster" as they call it outside the museum.

We are home alot more with Eddie's naps and such so we try to do fun activities at home.  Heres one of our fun ones that they insisted on taking pics of.  We made lego monsters then fed them with the appropriate color and then made something out of what color we had.

He's still a great babysitter!
After reading his new Paddington bear book he got for his birthday he decided to dress all his bears as paddington bear and buy them from Henry on his new cash register.  Oh how I love watching them play make believe together!
I don't think I need to say anything other than he's just the cutest thing ever!

Eddie's first real walk not in the carseat in the stroller.  The boys loved pushing him around the block!  And yes pretty crazy that in November there is still no snow on the ground and we can still go on walks!  We're definitely taking advantage of it!

I fully acknowledge that other people may not find all the things I find cute about my kids cute, but sometimes I post things for myself becuase the blog is somewhat of a scrapbook for our family.  So indulge me with this post.
These pictures have a story to it.  Parker does the grocery shopping with the boys every saturday and every saturday at costco when they pass the milk section B asks for Chocolate milk.  We don't have chocolate milk around here so every time Parker says "sorry it's not on moms list, we can only get what's on the list(ha, if only Parker followed that rule!)"  One day B got smart and wrote Chocolate Milk on my list:)

And here are some happy boys with their chocolate milk:)

Five Months Old!

I'm five months old and I'm still the little sunshine in my home!  In my brother's words I don't eat food yet just toys:)  I'm still close to sitting up and crawling and I roll all over the house.  I love to grab anything in my sight to eat.  I hate when my brothers pull my arms directions they shouldn't go and I still hate getting my diaper changed in the night.

Breitling is 5!!!

Our bright and strong willed boy is 5!  He loves make believe, inventing, dancing, and being creative to build or create anything!  He is the best big brother to Eddie and can be found holding him almost any time Eddie is awake!  Henry continues to be his best friend and cohort in crime!  They have their moments but most of the time they can be found making my house a mess as they play in their make believe world together!  He has truely gotten rid of his grumpy phase and is a happy optimistic joy in our home.
He had a great birthday week and had absolutely no meltdowns! He was just a happy, polite, and grateful little gem!   Yay!  Usually during birthday weeks kids have meltdowns from all the late nights and excitement, but not this time!  I guess he's growing up!
When he woke up this morning he came downstairs and said "my jammies feel tight now, because they are size 4 and now I am 5!"  Funny boy!
Opening his presents when Dad got home from work.  Yay!  Grandpa got him what he's been begging for!  A Transformer!  Who knows where his fascination came from with transformers because he's never seen the movies, but they are fun toys!
Very pleased grandma and grandpa Barlow got him the lego hero he asked for!
And, again just like his mama he loves chocolate so he asked for the yummy costco chocolate tuxedo cake from costco.  MMM, yummy!  I think today was a good day for me to try a little bit and see if Eddie's milk allergy has gotten better:)  I enjoyed every bite of it even if poor little Eddie is uncomfortable later:(

Yep, Daddy, did trick candles again, so more laughter followed:)
And in case you're worried Parker has calmed down by the third child and isn't as silly and fun you're wrong.  Here he is taking Eddie around in B's box from his birthday presents for his first box ride:)

Breitling's long awaited friend party!

If you know Breitling you know he is quite the boy and has been planning himself a friend party for years.  I haven't felt comfortable with it until now so we've always tried to make him feel loved and have a special Birthday in different ways.  He has grown so much and we thought age 5 would be a good age for a friend party so I helped him put all his ideas into a fun party and I think his hopes and dreams came true! He planned all his favorite things.  First we decorated bags for them to keep their treats in, then we did the freeze dance with darling ribbon rings I made them, then we went on a treasure hunt and found quarters to buy a gumball from our machine, then we did B's version of duck duck goose which was Happy, Happy, Birthday, and last we did a pinata!   Obviously we did not need more candy in the house after Halloween so I was relieved and proud of B when on his own accord Halloween night he said "mom, you can use my candy for the pinata!"  There were ten kids that came!  He has a really fun group of friends and we had a blast!

Just like his mamma his favorite foods are Chocolate and strawberries, so that was his cake request:)
Daddy bought the candles and surprised both of us with trick candles:)

Take one...

What, they didn't blow out?  Better take a breather...

Take 2....

What, they still didn't blow out?  Now this is getting funny!  Luckily Henry is in the background running to the rescue!

Henry saves the day and finally they're out!

Halloween!

Boy is Halloween and eventful and fun time with kids!  It started with their music class party!

Showing off the costumes they chose as they get ready for the party.

Playing mummy wrap at the party.

They even wrapped me.  Photo courtesy of Henry:)
Next fun event was of course carving pumpkins.  The boys put in their requests and daddy carved them.  B requested a scary one and Henry wanted a happy one with two teeth:)
They were excited on Halloween morning when they went downstairs and discovered daddy had already lit the pumpkins for them before he went to work.

And finally dressed up for trick or treating at the church.  Unfortunately Eddie had a really bad day and this was the best we could get of our usual happy boy!  We couldn't decide why he was screaming all day.  It could have been the two huge golf ball sized lumps in his legs from his shots a few days before, or the rash he got that in the matter of a day covered him from neck to belly, or the fact that he was starving becuase mommy all of a sudden lost her milk for no reason anyone can figure out, or that his tummy hurt from the formula mommy was trying to give him to ease his hunger(it turns out when your baby has a lactose intolerance it's really hard to find a formula that doesn't hurt them that tastes good enough to eat).  Wow, it must be hard being a baby and not being able to voice what's wrong!  I for sure know it's hard being a mom and feeling helpless when your baby is crying and you can't figure out what's wrong and how to help them!  The good news is we have since almost resolved all of his pains and he has returned to our happy ray of sunshine.  Being a mom is hard stuff but when I see my sweet Eddie's big smile it makes it all worth it!
And I wore my usual witch costume but added a new accessory.  A nose!  Not my favorite addition but the kids sure loved the surprise when I came out of the bathroom wearing it and chased them around the house!

Thank You Uncle Eric!

Uncle Eric spoiled us again with some cute clothes from his shows.  Here is cute Eddie showing off one of his cute outfits:)

I love this excitement from him while playing with daddy! I have baby pictures of me making this face:)
