Eddie is Two!!!!

Our Eddie is 2!  He has us all wrapped around his little finger!  We are raising the typical spoiled rotten youngest child and it's not all me, it's mostly the boys who give him everything he wants!  He makes us constantly laugh and plug our ears from his tantrums:)  He loves balls, trains, blankets, stuffed animals, sucking his thumb, and popcorn!
The boys had a blast decorating for his birthday and could not wait to go get him from his room!

Vacuuming up Daddy proved to be hilarious!

The hit of his Birthday was this cool track from Grandma and Grandpa!  Eddie loves it but hes also sharing and the boys are very happy about that!
Here he is pretending to put out a fire on the track:)

This boy loves balls so B and H went to the store to get him the biggest ball and came back with this:)
Sporting his cute Birthday outfit from Grandma and Grandpa at the park!

5 minutes before this he was having a meltdown, but he's all smiles when he's in the spotlight!

Helping us sing to him:)

He loved the attention of singing to him and blowing out candles so much that he begged for it again and again!  FInally after singing three times we convinced him to just eat his cake!

The boys have had a fantastic babysitter come take them out to play once a week since my foot has been down so that I can rest it and they can get out!  His sweet babysitter must know him well because she got him a stuffed animal that he now won't part with:)

Hot Hot Days!!!

It has been unusually hot!  One afternoon Parker comes home from work and says "I'm going to make the boys something for the super hot day tomorrow."  30 minutes later he's home from Home Depot with the tools then 30 more minutes later and he's rigged up this.  He's so handy and the best dad!  He gives us his absolute everything!

Random Fun!

Henry, Eddie and I were sitting on this bench on our porch reading and B was standing next to us when all of a sudden it broke!  We screamed of course and I was so worried about Henry and Eddie I didn't realize poor Breitling's foot was stuck under the bench.  Dr. Corts was home to help B and a few bandaids later he is fine, but I'll never live it down that I broke a bench!

I'm sitting in my chair chatting with the boys on their bikes when B says calmly "there's a bear behind you"  Sure enough there was!  He was right where B is standing in the pic.  The boys and I put our bear practice to use and calmly got inside.  By the time we got safe he was already back in the woods where he belongs so we didn't get any pics:(  There is a hole between our fence and the neighbors fence which gives an opening for animals to come visit us.  Needless to say I've changed the position of my chair so I can see the boys biking and bears coming:)

The boys picked up biking without training wheels this summer and are addicted now!  They're constantly begging for bike rides and can't wait for Dad to get home to take them!
FHE Armor of God:)

Silly, Silly Eddie

We love this kid!  He keeps us on our toes!  I'm sitting on the porch enjoying my book when the boys holler "mom, Eddies climbing out"  Stinker!  Yes, I'm sitting taking pictures of it instead of helping him get down.  I couldn't get there fast enough with my hobble so I sent Henry to save the day!
We're downstairs doing laundry when Eddie says he wants to eat.  I tell him one more second so I can finish laundry.  When I got upstairs 5 minutes later I see this pizza box on the floor....
Then I look over and see this little cutie helping himself to lunch.
We did water balloons and all were gone but one.  Eddie refused to let his go and ran around holding it all afternoon.  When it was time to go in we told him he had to leave it.  He set it in a special spot on our logs.  First thing the next morning he was hollering "balloon, balloon!"  I let him go out and get it and he came back very distraught with an empty balloon.  I guess the water had leaked out, but funny Eddie blamed it on Daddy like always!  He kept saying "Daddy, balloon, Daddy balloon."  He cracks me up, he's always coming to tattle on Daddy.

Rain Day!

We've been blessed with such great weather this summer which is a great thing since we get couped up fast at our house!  Even on the one rainy day we felt couped up so we got on the gear and jumped in puddles!  I love my boys!  I am a great boy mom and I'm so glad they like getting out as much as I do!

After watching his brothers jump he sat there thinking about it.
And he did it!

On to throwing rocks in!

Camping, sorta:)

I couldn't go camping with my boot, but the boys have been begging and we couldn't let this great weather go to waste just in case it's a fluke and it rains the rest of the summer so we made the best of it and camped in the backyard.  The boys have been great sports about my silly foot not to mention they pray for it every time they pray!  Probably because they think once it's better they won't have to do all the dishes and vacuuming and get this get that anymore:)  As long as smores were still a part of it they were game:)

Something about little guys in sunglasses makes me so happy!
Playing in the tent!!

Look at that handsome man relaxing!  He deserves it!  It's alot of work camping with kids especially when it's a one man show and I just sit and watch:)
