Finger Painting!

We knew Parker wouldn't approve of making such a mess so while he was at work we finger painted. Breitling LOVED it! Here he is making one of his masterpieces!

Alaska Summer Fun

Yay, it is finally sunny! It is now light practically all night long! It took me a few nights to figure out why Breitling was waking up in the night again, then we put up cardboard in his window and thank goodness he is back to normal.
I just had to post pics of him in his hat because he is so darn cute! Lucky us he loves wearing it, but I am sure that will not last long. He loves playing in his saucer out on our deck so he can get some fresh air.

We went for a walk at the botanical gardens, but he was a sleepy head and about all he saw was his hat.

We went through a carwash and I just had to capture his face expression as he was trying to figure out what the noise on the windows was.

My Boy Scouts and Random Pics

Parker is on his way to a campout with his scouts this weekend and surprisingly he is the one that asked for pics this time! I think it is because he felt so cool in his uniform sporting his ax and new gun case.

We went for a walk on the coastal trail which was beuatiful but Breitling got sick of his stroller and lucked out with a shoulder ride.

Our friends have a family home evening group and rotate at each others houses every week and they are so nice to invite us to come since Breitling and I are on our own Monday nights. This certain week they went for a walk on one of the trails. The kids make me feel so good because they love Breitling and dote over him, so needless to say I didn't have to push the stroller much.

When they don't want to listen to me or my workout videos they get out the ginormous headphones:)

Six Months Old!!!!

Breitling turned 6 months old yesterday!!! Wow time flies! Our favorite two things about Breitling at 6 months old are:

1. His big blue eyes!! Everywhere we go people comment on them and they just melt the heart.

2. He is sooo happy!!! People love him at the stores because he makes them feel so good that they can get him to laugh, but the truth is anyone who gives him attention will get a big smile!

Finally walking weather with only jackets!!!

I am pretty sure that my favorite thing about Alaska is having so many amazing trails right in our backyard! Breitling has loved taking walks everyday and finally we were able to put away the bunting and just wear jackets! We are starting to get more light everyday and yesterday it was still light outside at 10:30pm. It was kindof wierd at first to have it stay light so long yet there was so much snow on the ground so it felt like summer was here with it so light, but we were decieved:)

I love this picture because I think that this is a face expression I make alot(not that I really know since I can't see my face) so it reassures me this kid is definitely mine.
