Police Navidad!

The Anchorage Police Department does a fun Christmas festival so we checked it out this year.

Breitling's favorite part was sitting on Santa's sleigh.

They even had a slide on the back of the fire truck!
And now that they both understand Santa they were thrilled to sit on his lap.  And what they told him..Breitling asked for the silver(Spencer) thomas train for his train set, and Henry asked for a guitar.  My gym play area has several and every time I tell him we are going to the gym he yells "Guitar!"  We'll see what Santa can do....

The snow is here to stay!

After our September snow it's held out on us till now.  The kids were so excited when it dumped on us yesterday!

Helping Daddy shovel, although we don't need to shovel in the backyard:)
 Yelling "I love snow" again.
And our tradition of getting warm with hot chocolate(sometimes I wonder about this tradition since we have so much snow it may become a daily thing:)) This time we even still had some of Grandma Barlow's homemade bread to dip in it, so I even joined in:)

Smile!

Since Grandma was here we had her snap a few family photos.  We are not very into formal photographers, so here is what we got.

Whoops, this pic was supposed to load last.  The kids are bribed with a silly picture for the last one if they can sit through the first pics.

Hmm, when one kicks the dirt the other has to follow:)
And Henry's pout pout face is our cue that he's done!
But we still fit in some silly pics first.

Breitling is Four!

Well, our sweet little cowboy suddenly became a pirate superhero!  He is so imaginitive and despite his many toys he doesn't need much to portray his crazy ideas.  We just love him so much and can't believe it was Four years ago we brought our little newborn home.  We are so glad he is a part of our family!!!

Breitling chose a superhero family party and couldn't help but invite our buddy Cedar since she is pretty much family:)

Showing off the masks they made.

Knock down the villian bowling....
Nice pink Superman cake huh!  One day I'll learn my lesson and buy the fancy colors, but for now luckily B really likes pink!
Counting his candles to make sure there are four.

Flashing Henry a glare because he blew out his candles before he got a chance.  Don't worry, we hurry and relit them.

Wearing their new cute new Birthday jammies from the Corts!
Oh these pictures were supposed to go on at the beginning.  We did painting during Preschool that day and  he decided to become the Hulk!
His two airplanes he made from his Birthday legos!
His new train Henry picked out.
His four year old book from Grandpa Barlow!

Halloween!

Grandma was even here for our Halloween adventures, although she did all the picture taking and I didn't get any photos of her.

Can you guess who has the biggest scariest one?  Yep, that was Breitling's choice and Henry chose the cutest smallest one and wanted a big smile!
My Superheroes!!

Henry decided to wear my costume before I got it on:)

Obviously Henry got dressed himself:)

Passing out candy at the trunk or treat.
Our favorite part of Halloween, sorting the candy!

Grandma Fun!

My mom came to visit for two weeks just for fun this time!  She was here for Halloween and B's Birthday and we had a blast!  She of course spoiled the kids and took them on lots of outings without me:) Here are some of their adventures.

The morning she got here.  Can you tell Henry is pretty excited!

My mom was even a good sport and played swords with dramatic Breitling.

She made them pb playdough...

She took them for icecream!  Their choice was strawberry gummybear.
They played lots and lots of legos....

We even went and built a sailboat for the home depot project.

The kids insisted on taking her to their favorite train playground.

She brought painting!
She took Henry for outings while I taught preschool.  He even got to ride with garfield at Freddy's!
Getting a happy meal at Arby's!

She took B shopping for his Birthday and he chose pirate stuff so here are my two pirates!

Grandma took B for an outing to get a doughnut and brave grandma didn't even make him take off his pirate stuff to go:)
And Grandma's last day she took us all to Red Robin!  We had a blast and miss her already!!
