Trip to Girdwood

When you live in Alaska you just have to do stuff when the weather is good.  Thanks to Parker's awesome schedule we can usually do just that.  When we saw what a sunny day it was we decided to go on a hike in Girdwood to ride a hand tram. 

On the drive there here is B showing off his new sunglasses. 

It was a sunny day, however the trail still had a ton of snow on it so it made for a fun adventure:)

 Some parts weren't too bad, but as you can see some were pretty deep.  This picture depicts why Parker ended up with both kids(for everyone's safety:))

 He fell in a bit too:)  We didn't make it the three miles in the snow to the hand tram, but that just means when the snow is gone we get to do it all again!

We hit the best playground in Alaska on our way home.  Here is our sweet cute Henry enjoying it.

Henry is One!!

 Our little smiler is really one!  We all just love and adore him!  Even Breitling begs me not to put him down for naps sometimes so he can keep playing with him.  Parker has Friday's off work so we got to make a day of his Birthday!

 Breitling helped me plan this curtain of balloon surprise for him.  It took him a bit to decide to go through, but after that he couldn't get enough of it. 

 So excited to see all of his presents!

 Our Birthday activity was the dinosaur museum.  When asked what his favorite part of the day was Breitling couldn't decide between seeing the dinosaurs or eating cupcakes:)

 He was excited to see the dinosaur until Dad told me to put him in the head so the dino could eat him for the picture.  So he hung onto me for dear life:)

All kids are different I guess because Breitling barely ate a few bites of his huge cake I made him and with Henry I had to hold him back from devouring it.  He ate his cupcake in a jiffy and was reaching for another:)

Random Fun...

This kid loves, loves, loves to play with his daddy!  No matter how grumpy he is his dad can always get big laughs out. 

Hmm, maybe a bit heavy for little Henry:)

 The first day to wear shorts this year!  He was so excited to show them off.  Of course he is still wearing his boots!

 Their favorite game...chasing each other around the house!  Although it usually ends in someone(usually Henry) getting hurt they have a great time.

 I have to get creative to accomplish my workouts and this is his recent distraction.  Lots of colorful sizzly fun with vinegar and baking soda.

 He was proud of himself that he accomplished his biggest puzzle yet.  Thanks grandma for the cool puzzle!

Aviation Trade Show!

We definitely have to make an annual appearance to the aviation trade show.  This year Breitling loved it even more!
