When we sold our home last year we found a rental for the last year we'd be here. Our new home is in a new ward and I was very grateful that they put us to work right away so I could make new friends quickly even though we were only here a year. We were called as the temple prep teachers together. There were two neat couples in the class preparing to go to the temple for the first time and to be sealed together. It was such a neat experience to teach this class together. We were a great balance because I was nervous and thorough and Parker is much more relaxed:)
This is Caleb and Nahfeasha Collinns. They are a very special couple, and it was a very special experience to go through the temple with them their first time. We feel like it was completely inspired that we met them at this time. They are in the military and just two weeks after they went to the temple they were transferred to HAFB in Clearfield, UT, which happens to be where we are headed in May. We can't wait to see them again in a few months!
And totally unrelated here's my B getting two awards at school. He got not only the perfect attendance award but all a special one for being a big helper in class. This was a big deal for B! There are 19 boys in his 1st grade class, so needless to say this class is full of energy! He has a great teacher but it is a very overwhelming group! B is not really the problem but he does add to the chaos sometimes so we've worked really hard with him all year to be a good example and to figure out the time and place to be crazy and be respectful. We're so proud of him and his progress!
